Students have now experienced many different styles of acting. We are currently working on preparing duet acting scenes. These scenes are memorized and are going to need some outside of class attention. Before the end of the quarter we will learn about debate and impromptu speaking. Students that enjoy the class are encouraged to join our after school competitive forensic team!

November 2016 - Forensics
Students have been working hard. At the beginning of the quarter each student prepared a prose or poetry piece that they performed for class. Next we had some fun learning about improvisation before getting into the scripted, memorized performances. Each student has selected a storytelling or humorous/dramatic interpretation piece to prepare. They will cut, score, block, analyze, practice and write an introduction for the piece that chose. Later in the quarter we will learn about public forum debate and duet acting.
